I don’t understand why college kids tip so poorly. I really don’t. Most of them give $0, and we’re lucky if we get $1-2. Like… The delivery fee doesn’t count. I really honestly think they think it does.

I’ve just observed from first hand experience that I can expect to get $0 from 95% of campus deliveries, no matter how quickly I get there. Yeah, I still make sure their order is accurate and arrives in a timely matter, even though I’ve accepted the reality of the no tip situation. It’s just frustrating and flat out rude.

One of the college students I work with said she doesn’t get it either. “I always tip. If I can’t afford to tip the driver, I don’t order the food.”
